Sachi International School (SIS) focused on academic growth in Kanagawa, Japan. We provide a high-level bilingual education class in both English and Japanese taught by native qualified teachers. We accept the enrollment of children of the ages from 3 years onwards. We provide an education with various social and cultural events and seasonal themes like new year, valentine's day, ocean week, Halloween week, Japanese festivals etc.

SIS uses a Japanese-American curriculum as its foundation for the core subjects: Language Arts/Reading, Mathematics, which are adapted to international content standards. This academically challenging curriculum complements and reinforces our content standards while providing ample opportunities for students to acquire new skills and knowledge in order to express themselves in unique ways. Integrated within this base curriculum are classes in Physical Education, Art, and Craft. SIS incorporates Literacy into Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing(LSRW). The Complete for Literacy consists of process, genre, strategy, and conventions to effectively equip students with the necessary skills to become successful readers and writers. In addition, SIS uses the accelerated reader program from Renaissance Place as a complementary component of the school-wide reading/writing workshop structure.
